Critically acclaimed husband-and-wife duo The Imaginaries are back with their latest single, Wishing Well, featuring renowned Americana/Rock guitarist Ariel Posen. This blues-infused track is a powerful blend of rock and storytelling, enhanced by Posen’s signature guitar work.
The visually stunning music video, directed by Reagan Elkins and filmed at Eagle Creek Escape Cabins in Smithville, OK, adds a mysterious touch, drawing inspiration from legendary tales of wishing wells. Wishing Well was originally recorded at Cypress Moon Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, and later completed at Blackwatch Studios in Norman, OK, with Chad Copelin at the helm.
According to The Imaginaries, “Wishing Well is about renewal, manifestation, hope, and moving past challenges toward good fortune.” The song marks the third single from their highly anticipated upcoming album, Fever, set to drop later this year.
This release follows their recent string of high-profile collaborations, including Crossroads with Joe Bonamassa, their cover of My Eyes Adored You featured in the film REAGAN, and Whole Lotta Livin’, which boasts Vince Gill on guitar.
With over 75 music placements in films, TV, and advertisements, The Imaginaries continue to leave their mark in the music world. Their music was also featured in the Netflix film Mending The Line, which climbed to No.1 on the platform’s charts in March 2024.
