Rivière Monk releases their new single “Roda”

69

Rivière Monk is back with a summer-infused single that blends the rhythms of zouk with the energy of electro, inspired by one of their trips to Martinique. From the very first notes, the song captures listeners with an irresistible zouk cadence, where rhythmic percussion intertwines with electronic synths. A bright and sunny electric guitar solo sneaks into the second half, adding an organic and warm touch before concluding with a percussive bass line that reignites the track in a final explosive burst.

The new single, “Roda”, perfectly marries human warmth with electro beats, offering a delightful sweet and salty musical journey.

Rivière Monk is an electro-pop duo formed by inseparable cousins Kilian and Cédric. This family affair merges influences from both Martinique and France, creating a unique and diverse musical style. The release of their EPs, Supercruz’ in 2018 and Explorers in 2019, marked the beginning of their dreamy, organic, and melodic electro journey. Their music transports listeners into a vibrant jungle, moving seamlessly from one world to another without ever losing balance.
