  •  MOON AND ARIES is more than just another band that makes catchy songs; their music is meant to make you think, make you feel, and make you more aware. Their goal is to inspire readers to make positive changes in their lives and serve as a guide to finding who they really are. They give life to a fascinating world full of a one-of-a-kind blend of electronic, pop, cinematic synth pop, trip-hop, soul, and other genres.

Despite the fact that Jordana Moon is located in Canada and Tom Aries is located in Germany, they have demonstrated that geographical and temporal barriers are no match for their innovative and ground-breaking musical style.
Their music is the epitome of narrative wrapped in a variety of musical styles, and it never fails to leave its listeners feeling at ease and inspired. Melodies meet meaning! After initially releasing their 9-song first concept album titled “THE ARRIVAL” in 2022, they finally showed up. Then, in the summer of 2022, they released a 5-song EP titled “PARADISE” to the public. Their genuine nine-song concept album, titled “BREAK THE MATRIX,” was released in 2023. Release date for “RESOLUTIONS & REVOLUTIONS,” their next theme song album featuring 12 new songs, is set for 2024.

They’ve returned with a brand new song called “Don’t Feed the Demons.” This song is about: The return of Moon and Aries with a tune well suited to the Halloween season for celebration: “Don’t Feed The Demons” is a dynamic and sensual electronic pop song with trip hop undertones. A tune about facing one’s inner demons head-on, certain that one’s external environment would change for the better as a result. Release date for “Don’t Feed the Demons” was October 20, 2023.

Now we can highlight the contributions of both members of this dynamic duo. Canadian singer-songwriter Jordana Moon creates a harmonic ode to awareness and agency in her songs. Her instrumental thoughts on guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and violin set off her lyrics like a philosophical soliloquy. The likes of Joni Mitchell, Lauryn Hill, the Bee Gees, Portishead, and Massive Attack are among the many artists and styles from which she draws influence. However, Tom Aries, a musician from Western Germany who specializes in the electronic synthesizer, channels his background in classical piano into mesmerizing synth sequences. Aries, who has built a name for himself in the world of video game and film soundtrack composition, now applies his talents to the duo’s output, citing influences like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, ABBA, Portishead, Röyksopp, and the timeless sounds of the 1980s.

The
Story
Behind the Scenes
On March 1, 2021, the twosome began their adventure into the music world. Despite being on opposite sides of the Atlantic and a massive nine-hour time difference, the two musicians were able to find a rhythm and collaborate successfully through the use of file sharing and digital tools. Moon is from Canada and Aries is from Germany, but they have had an international effect anyway. Their 27-track discography has been played on radio stations across Australia, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Because of how well MOON and ARIES work together, they have been able to consistently test their limits. With the release of the nine-song concept album “The Arrival” in 2022, they made their platform debut. Not long after, the team gave us to “Paradise,” a five-song summer EP, swiftly followed by another 9- song concept album, “Break the Matrix” in 2023. Fast-forward to 2024, when they are prepping their fourth album, “RESOLUTIONS & REVOLUTIONS.”
