(World Health Organization)”Mind” is a song that reflects the very real battle with mental health and depression—an issue that is deeply personal to me. Having both lived through it and lost people I know to their inner demons, this song carries significant weight. Written in 2019, before the onset of the pandemic, “Mind” is about finding strength within yourself, with support from others, to navigate the toughest times. Mental health is finally being recognized and discussed more openly than ever before, but there’s still much work to be done. We must continue to promote well-being, understanding, and acceptance. It’s okay not to feel okay; what’s crucial is that we talk about it.
