Born out of a moment of inspiration after an evening out at an Xmas Market in Berlin, ‘Under the Mistletoe’ captures the happy feel-good romantic holiday spirit, Weihnachtsmarkt/Xmas Markets are known for. It was around 10 days before Christmas when the song came to him in the shower. He soon went on to write the lyrics and compose the melody the same day. With the help of his trusted nylon string guitar and sound engineer friend, Herbert Reichelt, they went into the studio the next day and finished recording the song.
Owing to time constraints and the need to release it well before Christmas, he decided to do only the first verse ! So watch out for the next verse in the full version of the song !

Gary now calls Berlin home, where he brings his blend of jazz, blues, funk, and rock ‘n’ roll, to life. His musical journey began at a young age, nurtured by his Grandmother and mother, who encouraged his talent by entering him into competitions and involving him in church choir performances. As a teenager, he played rhythm guitar and sang in a band, and today, he is living his dream as a musician and producer.
