Chad Shue Releases “I Wish That I Could Be With You For Christmas”

29

Singer/songwriter, Chad Shue has released his holiday lament, “I wish That I Could Be With You For Christmas” for the 2024 Holiday Season.

The song tells the classic tale of lovers separated over the holidays and their desire to be reunited. The simple country stylings are reminiscent of the familiar, “Blue Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”

Originally from Washington State and currently residing in Abilene Texas, Chad has spent the last 5 plus decades writing and performing his original music. His earliest influences were artists like Hank Williams Sr., the Everly Brothers, and Buck Owens.

But, in 1964, he was one of millions of American youth who heard the Beatles on Ed Sullivan and, the next day, was determined that he would make music the focal point of his life.

Although Shue has been actively performing live, either as a band leader or a solo artist, for some 5 plus decades and streaming his music via the usual outlets for the last 5 years; it has just been in the last year that he has been getting traction via commercial or online radio.
