Baraka Palmer’s “Beautiful Dawn” – A Song of New Beginnings

13

“Beautiful Dawn” is a heartfelt song about fresh starts and the hope that comes with a new day. The lyrics celebrate the dawn as a symbol of renewal, blending soft tones with a rock-inspired edge.

Jacob Cury shared that the song was initially influenced by the Brazilian rhythm “Carimbó.” However, when recorded with the band, it took on a heavier, metallic sound, adding strength to its peaceful message.

The band behind Beautiful Dawn includes Jacob Cury on vocals, Antonio Frugiuele and Marcô Loschiavo (Gram) on guitars, Johnny Zanei on bass, and non-performing member Anna Butler (Ex-MTV). For the recording, Martin Mendonça (Pitty) played bass, and Duda Machado (ex-Pitty) handled the drums.

The track was written by Antonio Frugiuele and Jacob Cury and recorded at Madera Studio in São Paulo’s Baixo Augusta area.

With its unique mix of serene lyrics and powerful instrumentals, “Beautiful Dawn” captures the essence of new beginnings.
