Asake Drops his Second Album ‘Work of Art’

178

Nigerian music star Asake has made an important statement with the release of his highly anticipated secibd studio album titled “Work of Art”.

Adding up to his remarkable progress in the music industry in 2022, which saw the artist’s sky rocketing propelled by the enchanting EP, ‘Ololade Asake’ and the world charting debut album “Mr Money” With The Vibe, Asake continues to grow in both momentum and trajectory.

In less than two years of his breakthrough into the musical landscape, Asake has impressively delivered not one, but two meticulously crafted studio albums, thereby following in the hallowed footsteps of his industrious label boss, Olamide, who boasts of superb crafted array of albums in his highly decorated catalogue.

‘Work of Art’ is a sprawling compendium of auditory splendour, bringing together a total of fourteen tracks that shows the length, breadth and depth of Asake’s musical talent.

This musical tapestry artfully interweaves his already released tracks, like Yoga, 2:30, and Amapiano, which is topping charts.

Within this musical odyssey, Asake traverses the large expanse of musical and artistic expression, showing his remarkable prowess as he shines predominantly in a solo capacity, with the exception of the esteemed presence of Olamide on the previously released track, Amapiano.

It is through this primarily individualistic approach that Asake unveils his remarkable ability to captivate listeners, expertly crafting compositions that evoke a myriad of exhilaration and elicit a profound connection with his audience.

The Work of Art album owes much of its musical brilliance to the impeccable production work of Magicsticks, Blaise Beatz, P. Prime, and Anoop D’Souza.

Together, these gifted producers have contributed their expertise to shape the album’s rich soundscapes, adding depth and dimension to Asake’s already exceptional compositions.
