Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, popularly know in the music scene as Camidoh, hails from Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana. His passion for music started at an early age.
He is a singer, songwriter, and producer known for his unique blend of Afrobeat, Highlife, and R&B music. He came into the limelight with his breakout single, “For My Lover,” which was released in 2018, establishing himself as one of the talented and promising artists in the country.
He participated in talent shows and competitions, which helped him gain exposure and recognition. However, it was his collaboration with Ghanaian artist and producer, Juls, on the song “Blessed” that brought him much attention in the industry.
The song became a hit and showcased Camidoh’s vocal dexterity and songwriting abilities.
Camidoh has released a number of projects including his debut EP titled “Contingency Plan.” in 2019. The project featured popular songs such as “Yawa” and “Maria.” The EP showcased his versatility as an artist and solidified his place in the music scene.
In 2022, he released his smash hit “Sugarcane” and Sugarcane remix which got him a lot of global attention and put him on so many international shows and tours.
He went on to release his second Ep “A Lifetime Is Not Enough” which also gained a lot of streaming numbers on digital stores.
Camidoh didn’t not rest, in June 2023, he has dropped the “LITA” his debut album which features the likes of Stonebwoy, Amarae, Kwesi Arthur and Eugy. The album explores themes of love, relationships, and personal experiences, resonating with a wide audience.
It has reached over 38 million plays and counting on Audiomack and doing great as well on all the other digital platforms.
Camidoh’s passion and hard work have placed him as one of the promising acts to watch out for in the Afrobeats and Highlife music scene in Ghana.
