With over 40 years of experience as a musician and songwriter, Alane J is making waves as a solo artist after decades of band performances.
Drawing inspiration from the sounds of 70s and 80s classic and hard rock legends such as Heart, Led Zeppelin, and Journey, Alane J is crafting music that is both nostalgic and profoundly personal.
Her latest release, Trust in Me, is a heartfelt testament to resilience and faith, born from personal struggles with relationships and a deep journey of spiritual trust. Released on October 18, the track weaves a powerful melody with poignant lyrics that remind listeners to surrender to God’s plan even in challenging times.
“During a difficult season, I leaned on my faith and kept receiving daily devotional messages about trust,” Alane shares. “This became the foundation for the song’s chorus and its message to believe in something greater.”
Beyond the music, Alane stands out as a female singing drummer—rare in the industry—and a versatile collaborator, having worked with artists across classic rock, rap, and progressive metal.
Recently, she opened for national acts including Stryper, Mr. Big, Lita Ford, and Quiet Riot with her band Mz Vendetta, which also contributed to the Sing Me a Story Foundation by turning a 10-year-old girl’s story into a song.
